Hi everyone,
Finally a chance to bring you all up to date with plans for the rest of the year. The next show and sale will be at the
Leighton Centre for the annual "Clothesline Sale" starting on May 28th, Saturday evening from 5 to 8pm.This event
is designed for the serious art buyer with a classy evening of wine, hors d' oeuvres, live music and
the Spring landscape at its finest. Admission $25. The following day Sunday May 29th is our regular Clothesline sale from
10 to 4pm. I will have 15 all new watercolours for your viewing pleasure and look forward to seeing you there.
The Federation of Canadian Artists Calgary Branch is celebrating a milestone this year with 30 years since its incorporation.
To commemorate we are having a special show and sale on Friday Sept.16th from 6 to 8.30pm,Saturday Sept.17th from 10
to 5pm and Sunday Sept.18th from 10 to 5pm. This show will be located in the Simmons factory building by the Bow River in
the East Village Area at 610 - 5th Avenue, SE, Calgary, Alberta. This show will be part of Art Walk which is scheduled for
the same weekend.
The final show and sale for the Federation of Canadian Artists will be our regular Fall show "Mad about Art" scheduled
for November 5th, 2011 from 10 to 4pm at the Haysboro Community Centre. Hope to see many of you again at one or
all of these events, don't forget to say Hi. Hope you all have a good and safe Summer.
